OUR FOUNDERS

Valerie Neumark is a brand strategist and graphic designer for both the corporate and non-profit sectors. She has her undergraduate degree in art and design, a graduate degree in education, and over 10 years experience working within the non-profit sector both as an internal administrator and as a communications strategy consultant. Valerie has built her career on helping nurture community through authentic marketing of non-profits, forward-thinking companies, entrepreneurs and small businesses. She enjoys looking at the long-term goals of an organization to help them create manageable steps to achieve their broader vision. As a designer, Valerie is an empathetic listener — able to create an integrated and sustainable visual language to support her client’s brand messaging.

 

Andrew Goldsworthy creates online marketing and brand strategies for social entrepreneurs and non-profits, helping them broaden their community base while deepening their relationships with current customers. He is passionate about using the power of technology as a catalyst through which to build a loyal constituent base, and create social change. Whether it’s web development, email marketing, SEO/SEM strategy and implementation, or data management and analysis, he’s up for the task.

 

Jason Mickela has been a software developer for over 10 years. He started working internally for a community college as a database developer and moved on to do higher levels of development in the corporate, financial, and non-profit sectors. In 2006, he began working for the University of California, Berkeley as a web developer where he built a custom CMS using PHP and MySQL. For the last 2 years he has been working as an independent contractor building websites, web applications, and custom modules for both CMS and HTML based websites. Though he focuses on Drupal website development, he knows 10+ programming languages and is always game to take on new challenges.
